Kenvue - Motrin Straw Demo
Kenvue approached us to create a fully animated commercial for their new product, a drinking straw filled with small vitamin tablets that dissolve while drinking. It's designed to help children get their daily quota of water and nutrients, so we wanted to make an animation that is both fun and informing.

To achieve the stylized yet playful look we were going for we wanted to use both 2D and 3D animation. 2D animation was the perfect medium for the quick cut intro of how the product works, allowing us to use a more graphic style to clearly illustrate the steps.

Granules Dissolving Motion Tests
The biggest challenge of this project was developing the dissolve animation of the particles. We did a lot of testing and research to achieve the best result and nail the look the client was looking for. Initially we tried doing this with a Voronoi Fracture in Cinema4D, but switched to Houdini as that made a smoother more powder like dissolve possible.
